ABC's smash hit summer phenomenon, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" returns on Sunday, November 7, for 15 consecutive nights of entertainment -- and suspense! Starting at the $100 level, contestants face 15 tough multiple-choice questions, often doubling their winnings with each correct answer. Players can choose to walk away at any time with what they've won so far, but, if they have the courage to go for it, they could become instant millionaires. Host Regis Philbin awarded more than $1,400,000 during the series' previous 14-day run in August, including a $500,000 prize to Michael Shutterly, the largest one-time cash prize allotment (excluding lottery winners) in the history of American television. |
